Facebook Changes - Chat, Tabs…

This is a video of the new chatting application that Facebook will be launching in the next couple of weeks. It looks pretty cool and will most likely make me even more addicted to the site. Damn you Facebook, let me get away from my computer every now and again.

There was also word on the Facebook Developers blog (here) that the profile will be changing to a tabbed layout (picture here). There has been no follow up since the original announcement, but the new layout would definitely clean up the profile. However, I already found the profile page very clean and organized, so is this just change for change sake, or will tabs really enhance the user experience. I think I will like it, but I am not sure about the majority. Especially app developers. But what do I know.
